The BMW E23 is the first generation of the BMW 7 Series luxury cars
and was produced from 1977 until 1986. It was built in a 4-door
sedan body style with 6-cylinder engines, to replace the BMW 'New
Six' (E3) sedans. In 1986, the E23 was replaced by the E32 7
Series, however, the E23 models (called L7) remained on sale in the
United States until 1987. This 1986 BMW 735i is powered by 3.4
liter inline six and backed up by a four speed automatic
transmission. Finished in a Delphin Metallic, this car looks great
for its age, with very little in the way of blemishes or wear. The
interior is just as nice, wearing tan leather and carpets, along
with some wood grain touches. A huge folder of service records,
going back years, can be found in the vehicle. It is quite clear
this BMW found the right owner from day one, whom took great care
in the maintenance of this beloved sedan. Only one family has ever
owned this 7 series, being it was recently inherited by the
daughter of the original owner.
