D&D Corvettes was gaining traction on building these iconic
replicas when GM took legal action and successfully shut them and a
few smaller producers down. D&D produced 136 of these replicas
before that happened. It is estimated that only 22 of them have
known whereabouts and many have likely been shipped out of the
country. At D&D, the replica fiberglass molds and tubular frame
design assistance came from John Adams who was able to keep one of
the original 5 Grand Sports and made a deal with Dean Hoskin's of
D&D to offer up his car to replicate in exchange for restoring
his car. This is an incredibly rare car! In addition, it only has
81 miles stored in the owners "Dream Car Garage" Including the
engine, transmission, frame and color scheme this car is as close
as any has ever been made to the original car.
