To celebrate the Mustang's 50 Year Anniversary in 2014, Ford
produced a limited number of the 2015 Mustang GT 50th Anniversary
Limited Edition fastback. Buyers of the 50th Anniversary Limited
Edition had only two exclusive choices of color - either Wimbledon
White or Kona Blue. The only other option choice for the buyer was
the transmission - either a 6-speed SelectShift automatic or a
6-speed manual. This is #0494 of 1,964 built of the 50th
Anniversary Limited Edition. It is finished in Wimbledon White and
equipped with the 6-speed SelectShift automatic transmission, with
all other features included as standard for this special edition.
The 50th Anniversary Limited Edition was built based on the GT
coupe and includes the Performance Pack. It is powered by a
5.0-liter Ti-VCT Coyote V8 engine factory-rated at 435hp and 400
ft/lbs of torque mated to the 6-speed SelectShift auto transmission
with a 3.55 gear ratio limited-slip differential. Special Y-shaped
19-inch alloy wheels are mounted with high performance Pirelli
P-zero tires that measure 255/40-19 in front and 275/40-19 in the
rear. The 4-wheel disc brakes feature the 6-piston Brembo front
calipers that were also included as part of the Performance Pack.
This special edition includes chrome trim on the taillights, grille
and side glass. The rear quarter windows feature an exclusive
louver glass appearance. It is equipped with HID headlights, LED
fog lights and LED tailights with sequential rear turn signals. The
interior of this Mustang features a custom two-tone white cashmere
and black leather special edition seats. The cashmere stitching is
also found in the front panel, center armrest and leather-wrapped
steering wheel. The 50th Anniversary Limited Edition logo is
detailed in the seat backs. The dash is complemented with full
gauges and specially turned aluminum trim panels. It has a 50th
Anniversary Limited Edition badge engraved with the car's unique
production number on the passenger-side dash, along with on the
faux gas cap on the rear trunk facing. The consignor is the
original owner of this vehicle. It has been maintained and stored
in a temperature-controlled building since time of purchase and has
only been driven for maintenance purposes. CARFAX shows Ford Motor
Company manufacturer safety recall issued on 02/17/2022: Luggage
compartment lid wiring, inspection and rear view camera improper
function. Status: remedy not yet available.
