Vehicle Description
1993 was the last year of the Fox body Mustang. This was the car
that brought the pony back to a true gallop, and so Ford wanted to
send it off properly. There were only a few special editions made,
and this highly original example is one of the most sought-after.
With a cool triple-white style, rare five-speed, loaded interior,
and fuel-injected V8 power, this 1993 Ford Mustang LX Convertible
is a limited edition with true classic distinction.
Vibrant White is a special color only offered for 1993. If that
didn't already feel special enough, this Feature Mustang was a
unique triple-white package that is said to have been limited to
1,500 LX drop-tops. And as long as the stick shift is a factory
feature, it cuts the rarity to about one-third of that. Oh yes,
this is a true collector's car, and that's why this is a two-owner
car with one owner keeping it for nearly a quarter century. This
level of respect is why the Vibrant White shows all the right signs
of being the factory application, and it continues to have an
attractive gloss in the sunshine today. These special edition cars
were not just about the paint mix and statistics, but also the
details. It has a unique style with color-matched features like the
mirrors, the trunk hinges, and a proper spoiler in place of the
luggage rack - and this was all done at the factory. We especially
like how they took the time to also coordinate the 16-inch alloys
in white.
The white folding roof looks great, but we all know a convertible
is meant to be open to the world. And the full white interior
really makes an impact while completing the ultra-desirable factory
triple-white package (paint, roof, and interior.) More than just
look good, the LX was the luxury cruiser edition, and so this
special edition came loaded with the best features. It includes
cold-blowing air conditioning, cruise control, power locks, cruise
control, driver's airbag, and the radio is an upgraded AM/FM/CD
unit. Power windows and a power convertible top go together to make
it easy to open this one up to the world. And this one is worth
sharing with everyone. The highly stock interior has a
well-respected style. So the leather on the seats still feels
supple. Plus, the Feature Mustang package meant the galloping
horses in the headrests - similar to the famous Pony package of the
iconic first generation!
The 5.0-liter is the heart that made these Fox-body Mustangs a true
legend. These fuel-injected V8s are a favorite because they mix
overbuilt performance with serious power right out of the box. It's
also why there is a huge aftermarket for upgrades. But since this
is such a significant car, it's nice to see this just stock and
well-maintained. But since this is also a desirable and rare
five-speed car, you know it makes for a nice driver. That's why
there were some investments in the suspension, such as an engine
bay brace, subframe connectors (come with the sale,) KYB shocks,
and new performance tires. And the power steering, power brakes,
and front discs make for a solid any-time driver.
Complete with the owner's manual, this is quite an impressive
collector car. And if you're looking for something stock, features
like the trailer hitch, lowering springs, shifter, and other
tasteful additions can also be easily reversed. The stock radio
even comes with the sale. It's hard to find this level of rarity in
a '90s car, and this loaded drop-top delivers an awesome style at
an awesome price. So you know you need to hurry on this deal. Call
