Ford Mustang Convertible known as "Black Diamond." This is not your
grandfather's Mustang. The build is extensive, elaborate, and very
comprehensive across the entire car. This car is a one-off
pro-touring build that was completed in 2011 by Classic
Restorations out of Floyd's Knobs, IN with over 4500 hours invested
and lots of one-off machined parts. Approaching this car you are
drawn in by the PPG Concept Black paint. The black convertible top
is power and works with ease, comes with a boot cover. Setting the
stance off are one-off designed true 3-piece wheels with hidden
bolts. Custom center lock 3-bar Spinner with black powder coat
center with diamond cut edges. Chrome outer and inner hoops - 18x8
Front and 18x10 rear. The Willwood disc brakes peak through the
rims, drilled and slotted, 4-piston calipers - 13" front, 12" rear.
Front and rear pot metal has been removed and custom sheet metal
pieces fabricated and welded to the body. Front and rear bumpers
were smoothed and tucked as well as rocker panels lowered to cover
pinch weld. Taillights are custom recessed with LEDs. So much
custom work. Rear roll pan, rear spoiler, rear wheel tubs, side
faux vents, stainless mesh grill, valve covers, gas cap and more.
Inside you'll be treated to Cooltouch black leather throughout.
Custom dash pad and rear seat, modified SPARCO front seats and
Daytona weave carpet. Trunk is fully upholstered by Cutter's Custom
Stitchin'. One-off steering wheel, brake pedal, and aluminum trunk
hinges. To keep her ridged and safe a 1.625" Chromalloy roll cage
is in place. Also keep you in place is custom Schroth Racing
6-point harnesses in front and with matching lap belts in rear.
Like your tunes? No problem. Kenwood head unit, JL Audio 900/5 Amp,
JL Audio coaxial 6" front and 6" component rear speakers will get
the job done. Ahead of its time for the build was an advanced
Touch-n-go start, wipers, and lights. Holding this beauty up are
RideTech single adjustable coilovers both front and rear. 1.25"
anti-roll bar, TCP power rack and pinion system, and Baer bump
steer eliminator kit make up the front. Rear has TCP splined
anti-roll bar. Under the hood is a real treat. Power this Mustang
is a Ford Racing Boss 347 Crate Engine with a Borla 8-Stack EFI!
She is sporting a Hydraulic Roller, 9.7:1 compression, Tru-Trac,
Billet Specialties, MSD ignition. She is running a Chris Alston
FAB9 Strange 9-inch nodular rear end with 31 spline axles and 3.70
gear ratio. Power runs down through a Ford 4R70W 4-Speed Automatic
with Electronic Overdrive by Bowler Performance Transmissions. She
runs and drives out very well and the music from the rear is
assisted by the Modified stainless JBA shorty headers, NoWeeds
Exhaust diverter system and 2.5" stainless exhaust system with
Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. Entire exhaust system is black
ceramic coated!This car has won several major awards, was featured
at SEMA with Royal Purple in 2012 and also competed in the Optima
Ultimate Street Car Challenge in Las Vegas. With only 9900 miles
since the build she has a lot of life to give. Current owner has
had her for over 14 years, acquired from a private owner. Title is
