Gateway Classic Cars Houston is proud to present this gorgeous red
1972 Chevrolet C10 long bed pickup. The second-generation C/K was
introduced for the 1967 model year. Designated the "Action Line"
generation by General Motors, the C/K largely carried over its
drop-center ladder frame and its coil-sprung rear axle, but the
body was redesigned from the ground up to improve its capability as
a multi-purpose vehicle. Make sure you scroll through all of the
photos of this truck - it is as nice underneath as it is "up top":
this baby is nicer than it was when it rolled off the assembly
line! This C10 pickup is powered by a potent 350 CID V8 that's
backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission, which delivers the
output to the PosiTrac-equipped 12-bolt rear end. This enhanced '72
C10 is also equipped with power steering, front disc brakes and
dual exhaust. Under the hood, one can see that it has received many
upgrades, including polished a/c compressor and alternator, a big
aluminum radiator, Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and aluminum
intake, and Hedman long tube headers scavenge the exhaust into the
true dual exhaust system. The cabin features bucket seats
upholstered in fresh black synthetic leather, along with a matching
dashboard cover, door panels, and new carpets. Additional features
include a custom center console, Vintage Air A/C, seat belts, and
crank windows. The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a tilt
column and frames the Intellitronix gauges that include a 160-mph
speedometer, 8000 rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level,
coolant temperature, battery voltage, and oil pressure. This C10 is
riding on a set of original style wheels with bright chrome beauty
rings and Michelin Radial T/A tires ready to take on the miles.
Don't let this one get away!
