Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 2011
Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet. This 911 Turbo S is equipped with a
twin-turbocharged 3.8L flat-six engine that produces up to 530 HP
and 516 lb.-ft of torque from factory. By utilizing a revised
intake system and more aggressive tuning, the Turbo S achieves an
increase of 30 HP over the standard Turbo model. Punch the throttle
and the sound behind you is both exhilarating and a little
terrifying. A 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission sends power to
the wheels. This 911 is finished in Guard with a black cabriolet
soft top. Inside, this Turbo S showcases a unique Black full
leather interior with red accent stitching and painted Sport Seat
backs. On the regular setting, the 911 is docile and reasonably
quiet, with a ride that is comfortable on all but the roughest
roads. There's a "Sport" and the aforementioned "Sport Plus"
button, either of which stiffens up the suspension and places the
transmission shift pattern later in the rpms and faster shifts. The
911 has a rear seat, but there's not much room to try and wedge
anyone back there. It serves mostly as a convenient, extra storage
space, complementing the 3.7-cubic-foot trunk up front. Raise the
rear hatch and you'll find that it's quite full of engine. One of
the most interesting aspects of the car is the PDK transmission,
which stands for Porsche Doppelkupplung, meaning it has a
dual-clutch gearbox. It operates like a regular automatic
transmission, but with the internal clutches, the sensation is very
much like a manual transmission's operation, but you don't have to
shift, and there is no clutch pedal. If you're ready to hop in a
car and cruise the town or even hit the track, this Porsche 911 is
the one for you!
