Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to offer for sale, on
consignment, this stunning 1966 Volkswagen Dune Buggy, Meyer's Manx
Tow'd. This is a fresh build with just around 200 miles on it since
completion. The engine is a 1600cc OE VW German engine rebuilt with
a new cam, German lifters, Mahle pistons and rings. The 4 speed
manual transmission is also completely rebuilt with a new clutch
and gears. Additional features include Polished Aluminum Mag
Wheels, Turning Brake, Manual Convertible Top and Performance
Tires. There is no cooler way to hit the beach, dunes or the forest
trails than in a nimble, lightweight and ample powered buggy. The
body is an original 1969 Meyer's Manx Tow'd that was designed to be
towed behind your truck or RV. This original body is 1 out of 1000
ever made. The original Meyer's tag #T0378A923A is affixed to the
body and authenticated with a signed Certificate of Authenticity by
Bruce and Winnie Meyers. The Chassis is from a 66 VW. The yellow
paint shines like the sun thanks to a little pearl added in to
catch your eye. The black and yellow interior is freshly done and
new chrome headlights and a new windshield have been installed.
This is one of the nicest, original and authenticated Meyer's Manx
Tow'd's in the country. Give our friendly sales staff a call or
email to go over the details on this one of a kind ride!
