Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to present for sale, on
consignment, this far from mild, 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Pro
Street! This is a full circle story where the car was purchased
from our showroom 2 years ago, the new owner made some changes and
is now ready to move on to something else. The engine was a rebuilt
327 that did well but the owner wanted something more out of it, so
he added a 671 blower, dual Holley Brawler 750 carburetors, a CVF
serpentine belt conversion and a healthy amount of Nitrous Oxide.
Weld racing wheels, complete with bead locks in the rear help to
give this car some attitude while the 275/60R15 Nitto NT555R tires
in the rear matched with launch control have you gripping the
steering wheel and holding on for dear life. Up front are some
Mickey Thompson Sportsman SR tires size 26 x 6.00 R17LT to guide
you towards the finish line. The restoration on this car is about a
decade old but the paint still shines like new, thanks to the
ceramic coating that was recently done on it that comes with a 7
year warranty. The engine was dyno tuned by Outlaw Race Engines in
Phoenix after all the go fast goodies were installed. The power
from the blown 327 runs through a TH350 automatic transmission to a
Ford 9 inch rear end. There is a custom center console with a tach,
oil pressure, trans temp and oil temp gauges. The hood that the car
came with did not survive in storage and the current owner was
looking into having a custom carbon fiber hood made but ran out of
time so he's leaving it up to the new owner to decide how they want
that giant blower displayed. Power brakes and power steering are
welcomed luxuries when you get behind the wheel of this beast. This
car is an absolute blast to drive and just as fun to look at, give
us a call to learn how to make it yours!
