Vehicle Description
This 1970 code-28 Fathom Blue Chevrolet Chevelle SS was the
recipient of a two-plus-year comprehensive, frame-off, nut-and-bolt
restoration. Practically everything was replaced with new parts or
rebuilt, including the original CRV-coded LS6 454/450hp V8 engine,
Muncie M22 4-speed manual transmission and original 4.10-gear-ratio
12-bolt posi-traction rear end. All the chrome and brightwork
shines, and the white Rally stripes indicate what lurks below the
optional cowl-induction hood. Additionally, this LS6 has power
front disc brakes, smog system and F41 heavy-duty suspension. The
black vinyl interior sports bench seats with full seat belts, a
Hurst floor shifter and an AM/8-track stereo. This example is
documented with two original Build Sheets that detail the features
and options of the car. In addition, the Super Sport was certified
by renowned Chevelle expert Jerry MacNeish, validating the original
engine and rear axle as the original units installed at the
Chevrolet factory. Also included with the car is the original
owner's manual, as well as a multitude of restoration receipts and
pictures. **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
