Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1979
Jeep CJ5 4x4! What is a Jeep? What do you think about when you hear
the legendary name? For me it goes back to the American way of
life. To go anywhere and do anything. No limits! Nothing embodies
that statement better than a Jeep, literally! Jeeps rich and rugged
history goes back to WWII and has seen many changes and updates
through the years. It matters not what generation you drive; you
own a slice of American Heritage and a family that will echo
freedom for many more generations to come! This is a '79 model and
wow this is a nice-looking ride! The new Green paint with the tan
colored hardtop looks very sharp. She was repainted 4 years ago.
Inside are tan cloth seats that match the top and are in good
order. Green dash and floor match the body and make for a nice
contrast. Under the hood is what you want, the tried and true
Inline 6-cylinder engine with power running down through a 3-speed
manual gearbox and the 4x4 shifter is located right next to it on
the floor. She has manual locking hubs. She runs, drives, and
shifts out very well. Current owner has had her for over 5 years,
acquired from a dealership that is believed to have procured it
from the original owner. The odometer does not work on this Jeep.
The title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your
name now! Don't let this Jeep run off without you and give us a
call today! Options on this CJ5 are: Power Brakes, Cloth Seats,
Seatbelts, and Radial Tires. This 1979 Jeep CJ5 is offered by our
