Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is excited to offer This 1967
Chevrolet Camaro SS/RS 396 tribute! This Turquoise beauty has the
iconic hidden headlight front end, and behind that grille is
serious big block power. And as you dig a little deeper, you'll
discover some big investments within the last few months, including
a five-speed upgrade. This car has the right mix of mean and
sophisticated. After all, bright chrome bumpers and good body lines
let you really appreciate a first-year Camaro. And the trim tag
tells us it's even in its distant factory-correct Emerald
Turquoise. It's a proper Super Sport upgrade with the large chin
spoiler, velocity stack hood trim, and D80 rear spoiler. There's
even upgraded aggression with the smooth blackout front end with
RS-style hidden headlights, and glowing LEDs behind those doors.
And those American Racing wheels are in a large 17-inch size with
an extra-wide rear set to show off where the power meets the
pavement. The black interior with deluxe trim continues this
factory-correct style. And just like the exterior, there's a great
classic style with performance upgrades in the mix. The seats, door
panels, and carpeting all have a clean look in stock-style
materials. It has an overall comfortable style, and there are even
nice upgrades like the armrest center console with cup holders. The
steering wheel has a beautiful walnut wood grip, and beyond that is
a fresh set of Dakota Digital gauges with a large speedo and handy
tach. The dark and smooth inner walls of the engine bay funnel your
attention to the shining heart in the middle. The 396 cubic-inch V8
upgrade is always great to see on a first-year Camaro because that
was the largest motor Chevy offered on the order sheets. But this
one looks extra tidy, and that's because we have maintenance
records showing there was over $25k invested in here within the
last few months. It includes a new Holley Street Avenger
four-barrel carburetor. This big block also exhales with added
power and authority thanks to long tube headers feeding the dual
exhaust. There are also the right supporting components, like the
HEI distributor, fresh fluids, a new starter, a new battery, and a
new aluminum radiator with an aluminum overflow tank. Even the new
Tremec 3550 five-speed manual transmission only has about 500 miles
on it, and that includes a new clutch and flywheel. This feeds a
rebuilt driveshaft on its way to the stout 12-bolt Positraction
rear end. Plus, power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, new
bushings, and the new BF Goodrich G Force tires all give this big
block classic a confident feeling on the road. Here's a first-year
Camaro with a great mix of style and substance. That's an awesome
total package you need to take home today. This Camaro is being
offered by our Dallas Showroom and can be seen in greater detail
