Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1957
Chevrolet Corvette. The Corvette is as American as apple pie. With
over 60 years of production and eight design changes the Corvette
has withstood the test of time. In 1953 the first Corvette rolled
off the assembly line becoming the most popular sports car in
history. The excitement continues as the first mid-engine Corvette
rolled of the assembly line in 2020. This 1957 Chevrolet Corvette
has been built to either race or make a cool streetcar. Under the
hood of this beauty is a 406ci V-8 producing a whopping 420 HP.
Special engine features include Dart Heads, big valves, roller
rockers and Hooker headers. A Super T-10 manual four-speed
transmission which is attached to a 9" inch Ford 3.56 ratio rear
end with custom traction links. The brake system has been updated
to front disk brakes. Two Harwood fuel cells are mounted in the
trunk. This 1957 is painted in classic Corvette white, sporting all
its original chrome trim and bumpers. A red interior adds to that
classic 1957 Corvette look. Features include bucket seats with
four- point racing seatbelts, chrome roll bar and modern gauge
package. Whether you are looking for a race, street or show car
this 1957 Chevrolet Corvette will not disappoint. A Corvette which
retains its classic good looks but now performs with an abundance
of muscle.
