Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to present this
2001 Honda S2000 in black on black. The S2000 was Hondas open-top
2-seater sports car from 1999-2009. The 2 in the name stands for
the 2-liter engine displacement. These cars are QUICK. S2000's
produced from 1999 to 2003 were given chassis code AP1- dubbing the
initial five years as first generation. While the second generation
from 2004 and on, named the AP2, came with several factory changes
including a facelift. Rising in collectability, early models such
as this 2001 are at the edge of being considered classics. Very hot
amongst the JDM crowd, and general fans of 2-seater sports cars.
This S2000 looks really sleek with its black exterior and interior.
The black soft top is automatic. The digital gauge cluster really
is a stand-out feature of this Honda. An absolutely beautiful
display, reminiscent of retro LCD gauges from the 80's. The
tachometer meter curves around the upper half of the screen, which
looks really cool! The leather seats looks great, as does the
overall shape of the interior. Under the hood we have a 2.0 lit
Inline 4. Paired to a 6-speed manual. Rightfully so- this car is a
bullet. The peak of Honda performance. Any enthusiasts will have
loads of fun zipping through gears and maxing that speedometer!
