For Sale: 1952 MG TD in O'Fallon, Illinois

Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is proud to present this 1952 MG TD for sale. The TD Midget was introduced in January 1950 and combined the TC's drivetrain, and the MG Y-type chassis to produce the new model. Production ran until 1953 with approximately 30,000 total. This TD is powered by the 1,250 CC 4-cylinder engine with a 4-speed manual transmission. This 1952 TD has a Cream PPG exterior and a Biscuit interior. The main complaint that U.S. owners had with the MG TD sold in the U.S. was the British 12-volt electrical system, which was hard to service when most US cars were still using 6 volt systems. This TD is equipped with a manual convertible top, telescopic wheel, seat belts, spare tire and jack, hub caps and radial tires.
