Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is happy to present this all-steel
1935 Ford 5 Window Coupe. This 5 Window is powered by a 350 C.I.D.
V/8 and teamed up to a 4-speed manual transmission, adding to the
exhilaration of driving in this Baby Blue beauty! Originally, the
1935 Ford 5-window coupe came with a 221-inch Ford Flathead V8
(only available motor of the day) but in this example, there's much
more resting under the hood in the form of a 350 small block. The
1935 Ford took a while for fans of the V/8 era to recognize its
collectability. Old "Hot-Rodders" have always been drawn to the
1932-1934 Fords, which are very difficult to find today without
some sort of modification made to them. The 1935 though, was often
overlooked but has begun to make strides among collectors who came
to recognize it as a well-built car that could move pretty quickly
and featured an attractive design. This one is no exception. With
the chrome steel wheels & oversized white walls, it just speaks of
an era when old hot rods were built in driveways and garages, not a
shop with a 2 year waiting lists! The suspension has been updated
for better handling; the exhaust was updated for a better sound & a
list of power options have been added for a bit of the creature
comforts in the interior. This is a good driver quality 1935 that
can certainly be enjoyed just the way it sits or can very easily be
upgraded to fit your individual tastes! Some of the additional
options are the "Banjo" style steering wheel, Auto Meter gauges,
power steering, power front disc brakes, power windows, power door
locks and tilt steering.
