Vehicle Description
1966 Chevrolet Impala SuperSport that has just gone through a 4
year Nut and Bolt Rotisserie Restoration. This car started out as a
Numbers Matching Original SuperSport and has been transformed into
the nicest Numbers Matching Resto-moded 66 Impala SuperSport in the
country. The engine was completely overhauled and upgraded with
headers cam carb and ignition system. The body is all original
except for the hood. Every piece of this car has been replaced or
rebuilt the suspension has been upgraded with solid 4 link
suspension front and rear thicker sway bars neoprene bushings new
springs all new linkages and lowered 2 inches to get the perfect
look and great handling. The paint was a 2 week project that
included 11 coats of paint and clear that were wet sanded between
to get that flat glossy look without using filler like the guys on
TV. The last coat was then wet sanded and buffed to get the shine
you see now. The electronics were also upgraded with Push Button
Start AM/FM CD/DVD Bluetooth Navigation Backup Camera and Polk
Audio and Kenwood Speakers and Amplifier. The interior is from a
2006 Chevrolet Impala SS that includes Leather front and rear seats
console shifter and cable. The dash is all Dakota Digital and the
door panels are custom made with longer arm rest and electric
windows. The car gets its stance from 2 inch lowering coils and a
set of Michelin tires mounted on 20 inch Boss Wheels. The exhaust
is 2 1/2 inch with a X pipe and Magnaflow mufflers for the perfect
sound. The only rust on this car originally was in the passenger
side rear floor around the drain plate so we replaced the entire
floor pan not just a patch. The trunk floor is still original. This
was an original Power Steering/AC car which has been upgraded to a
Power Steering/AC/Power Disc Brake Car. Most of the chrome has been
replaced and a custom billet Phantom Grille was added.
