Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this very custom 1969 Ford
Mustang. This fastback was given a new lease on life about a decade
ago when the current owner pulled it from a field and upgraded or
replaced just about everything on the car. The floor pans, sheet
metal, trunk, hood, etc. were all replaced with new metal and
finished very cleanly. A number of aftermarket companies were
involved in bringing this beast back to life such as TMI for the
seats, Kenwood radio, U.S. Mags wheels, Heidts suspension to name a
few. This next part is going to upset the purists. In an effort to
make this Mustang stand out from the crowd, an unconventional
engine was chosen to power this Ford. A 2014 Chevrolet Camaro
surrendered its LS3 6.2l V8 and 6L80E 6-speed automatic
transmission to bring the Mustang into the modern performance
world. Factory rated around 430 fuel-injected horsepower makes this
one stout pony car. The engine was tuned by a performance shop to
wring out every last drop of power. One lap around the block and
you'll know exactly what we mean! This Mustang has been displayed at
some regional shows and gets a lot of attention wherever it goes.
The clean white paint contrasts with the smoked rear lights, and
the gray light panel merges it all together tying in with the slick
rims. Don't let this one-of-a-kind Mustang ride off into the sunset
without you!
