Vehicle Description
A dignified color combo, desirable V8 power, an overdrive
transmission, a loaded A/C interior, and overall drop-top appeal
make this 1998 Ford Mustang GT Convertible quite attractive. You'll
even spot a few sporty upgrades to give this well-kept classic even
more distinction.
The factory-correct Crystal White paint has a nice radiance that
looks right on a sunshine-friendly drop-top. It gives this a touch
of premium, especially when paired with the tan convertible top.
But this is also a Mustang GT, and so it's less about being fancy
and more about being a fun driver-ready car. That's why the largest
brightwork elements you're going to find are the dual exhaust tips
and Cobra-style polished alloys. Plus, the sculpted hood with
integrated vents, GT spoiler, and sculpted sides that lead to a
rear vent trim are all part of the Mustang magic. They even added a
roll hoop for added strength and a touch of power pony car
attitude.
Because the tan looks so good against the exterior white, you'll be
glad to see a similar style with the roof down. Saddle tan leather
always has an attractive look and feel when cared for correctly.
Even high-traffic areas like the driver's seat have worn in nicely
in this actual miles convertible. This Mustang came loaded from the
factory with a bunch of great equipment like power locks, keyless
entry/alarm, dual airbags, cruise control, and a premium
AM/FM/cassette stereo with CD player. But the best factory features
are the power convertible top and power windows. That means you can
go from an enclosed sports car to an open-air experience without
having to ever leave the driver's seat. And this always feels like
a driver's car with a sports steering wheel on a tilt column, full
gages with large speedo and tach, and a power driver's seat.
One of the reasons why the Mustang is a legend is the proper V8
power. So it's nice to have a later 4th gen model that benefits
from the factory upgrade to the 4.6-liter SOHC modular V8. It
ushered in a new era of performance while still delivering the same
hardy reputation. Proper care means this fuel-injected motor fires
up nicely, and it makes a great sound out of the dual exhaust. And
because this one still loves to be a driver, it has the right
features to be great for journeys near or far. This includes the
GT's upgraded suspension, power steering, four-wheel power disc
brakes with ABS, and a four-speed automatic transmission with
overdrive.
Complete with the owner's manual, we like this GT because it
delivers an easy-to-drive and easy-to-love attitude. You may choose
to update some of the details or recharge the air conditioning, but
overall, there's an attraction in a well-kept V8-powered drop-top
for such an affordable price. Call today!!!
