Looking for a reliable Shelby Cobra? Look no further! With
electronic fuel injection, a 5-speed manual transmission, power
rack and pinion steering, and 4-wheel disc brakes this beauty is a
blast to drive and feels more like a new car than a classic!
Under the hood is a built roller 302 with an Edelbrock upper and
lower intake combination, MSD distributor, BBK spacer and cold air
intake, BBK ceramic coated headers, and AFR aluminum heads! It's
not just go, it also has a lot of show! The intake, air cleaner,
pulleys, and headers look fantastic when paired with finned Cobra
valve covers! You will be happy to pop the hood on this Cobra and
show it off. You'll also see under the hood is a big radiator with
an electric fan to keep this high-revving small block cool. That
powerhouse is paired to a Borg-Warner 5-speed manual transmission
with short throw shifter and classic Cobra feel.
4-wheel QA1 adjustable coil over shocks keep this car planted in
the turns and 4-wheel disc brakes with red Cobra calipers allow it
to stop on a dime. This is a Factory Five kit with 8,200 miles
since the build was completed. It has been garage kept and has a
clean title. It is titled as a 1965 so it can be exported!
The interior is classic black vinyl bucket seats, black carpet,
black vinyl dash, a Cobra steering wheel, round gauges, and a Sony
radio. The Sony AM/FM/CD player has speakers between the seats and
a nicely hidden sub in the trunk. It also has a battery disconnect
right between the seat and the ignition hidden under the dash, but
easy to reach.
The trunk is nicely finished off with black carpet, a trunk prop
rod, and some basic tools just in case! Battery jump posts are
easily accessible at the rear of the car, since the battery is
hidden under the car. The underside of this Cobra is clean and
shows incredibly well. Tubular control arms, a 4-link setup on the
rear end, and side pipe exhaust are exactly what you want to see on
a Cobra replica! These Cobras are solid investments and are
incredibly fun! This one has lots of legroom as well. I'm 6'6 and
wear a size 14 shoe and I was able to drive this car comfortably.
At my size, the only change I'd make is a slightly smaller steering
wheel. If you're looking to get into an instantly recognizable
