Under the hood of this 1970 Chevelle SS is a 454 cubic inch with a
set of aluminum heads, aluminum intake, Holley performance carb,
exhaust headers flowing back to the dual exhaust, chrome big block
Chevy valve covers, yellow performance spark plug wires, factory
open air element air cleaner with chrome lid and 450 HP decal,
power steering, power brakes, performance electronics and
distributor, and front disc brakes.
The engine bay is highly detailed as is the chassis with the dual
exhaust running out under the rear bumper thru chrome tips on each
side, and the 4-speed manual transmission that runs to a 12-bolt
rear end.
Add in and the good grip of wide black sidewall tires mounted on
the aftermarket 5-spoke mag wheels, 12-bolt rear end, sway bars,
and you get this big block which is a true driver's machine.
Interior
The restored interior features white bucket seats with headrests
and matching rear seat that looks as new and everything looks
correct and just like it came from the factory back in 1970.
It even has the Chevrolet radio in the great black factory dash
housing the optional U14 round gauge package that includes the
tachometer, clock, accessory gauge, Hurst chrome shifter with the
white ball in the center console, black steering wheel, black
carpet and door panels, and rear seat, and black Chevelle SS floor
mats and the result is a Chevelle SS that feels like a time piece
as it is in excellent condition top to bottom.
Exterior
Our Chevelle is finished in great Orange paint flowing over the
cowl induction hood with the white SS stripes, slick panels,
blacked-out grille, bulging fenders, and the hardtop profile.
The chrome bumpers, wheel arch trim, Chevelle and SS 454 badging
really look great and draw people to the car at shows or even gas
stations, and even the chassis looks super clean too.
