Vehicle Description
This 2001 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am WS6 convertible represents the
final evolution of the iconic T/A around. And so it's awesome to
find an example that preserves the tradition so well with great
paperwork, low mileage, beautiful details, and a triple-black
presentation that makes sure this feels like a mean V8 machine.
There's a sleekness to the factory black paint that makes it
awesomely attractive. That's what happens when you have a car that
has only averaged about 1,300 miles annually. After all, the
odometer doesn't lie, and this one tells you it has spent far more
time in garage care than out on the road. And let's face it, a
slippery black is the only color for a mean machine like this.
These high-end T/As came with some of the most aggressive details
like the beastly Ram Air quad intakes up front, full body kit, and
well-integrated rear spoiler that are all part of the factory
package. It's a dark and sinister total appearance, but it may be
the few bright spots that really gain your attention. The upgraded
squared exhaust tips fit the opening nicely. Plus, we love the way
the alloys pay tribute to the snowflake wheels that was arguably
one of the largest icons of the whole Trans Am run (purists will be
happy to know the factory alloys also come with the sale.)
The Ebony black interior combines with the paint and roof to give
you an ultra-desirable triple-black presentation. And just like the
exterior, the low mileage means a well-preserved style all around.
The front bucket seats are built with terrific power bolstering and
finished in supple leather. Yours even power adjusts to find the
right driving position. It makes for a total impression of a car
that you'll love to drive, but just like the previous owners, it's
for special occasions and done with care. And another reason why
this is such a great driver is because it has a long list of
features. This includes power windows, a power top, power locks,
power mirrors, cruise control, keyless entry/alarm, steering wheel
mounted controls, a tilt column, and a Monsoon AM/FM/CD stereo with
equalizer. Beyond just luxury amenities, a modern classic also
means modern safety with items like dual airbags and anti-lock
brakes. But your favorite feature will be the cold-blowing air
conditioning. It's the perfect feature to let you have top-down
adventures even if you take this dark T/A out into the midday
sun.
The WS6 package means you got a Ram Air-fed motor, and thus, the
325 hp LS1 fuel-injected V8 was the highest horsepower available
from Pontiac. That makes this car quite significant, and so it's
terrific to know you have the numbers-matching motor. The entire
engine bay of this low-mileage machine looks stock, right down to
the decals. The lightweight all-aluminum powerhouse has a versatile
powerband that loves to get up quickly from the stoplights or just
effortlessly cruise on the highway. And this powerful/useful dual
nature is exactly how you should view this convertible. It has
great everyday features like a four-speed automatic transmission
with overdrive and power steering. So it will be easy to add to the
low odometer with some road trips. Then when you find the back
roads, the four-wheel power disc brakes and WS6 performance
suspension make this a sharp handling machine.
The sale comes complete with the original windows sticker, warranty
card, owner's manual, sales literature, and more. This is the kind
of ultra-sleek triple-black total package that would make Batman
jealous. So if you're looking for a true classic that's also as
mean as midnight, call today!!!
