This 1957 T-Bird has the original D-code 312 cubic inch V8 engine with 4 barrel carb and 245 horsepower. She underwent a frame on/engine out professional restoration in 2019. The restoration emphasized keeping authenticity by rebuilding/restoring all possible original parts including the Ford-O-Matic three-speed automatic transmission, full revitalization of the engine, power steering system, power brake system, plus a new radiator.
Exterior colonial white paint quality is “good” with a few small blemishes. Interior red carpet and seat covering replaced in 2019.
This is a beautiful, fun and reliable car. Comes with 3 tops: hard white top (interior liner coming loose on one side), soft black top, and a snap on convenient tonneau cover.
We’ve loved driving her for special occasions and weekend joyrides, but it’s now time for another family to enjoy this 65 year old beauty.
