realizing automotive enthusiasts never lost their taste for
high-performance vehicles. Chrysler's famed Street Racing
Technology (SRT) quickly brought to concept a reincarnation of the
classic American muscle car, the Shelby Cobra to help meet the need
for speed. Powered by a V-10 producing 400hp and 475 lb-ft of
torque the Viper could lay down 12.9 quarter mile times and Carroll
Shelby openly endorsed it as the reincarnation of his famed Cobras.
Featured here for sale is a low-mileage example of the 1st-Gen
Viper. This 1994 Dodge Viper sports an Emerald Green finish. The
paint has been very well maintained and you will find very few
blemishes on the surface that shines with a rich luster. This
nearly 30-year-old design remains current and as attractive as did
when it was first introduced with its sexy curves and side exhaust.
Listening to the exhaust notes released just below your ears as you
run through the gears is a driving experience often only felt on a
road course with a race car, or in a Viper! True to its racing
heritage the Viper does not have roll-up windows but rather clip-in
side windows that can be removed like the Targa top for true
open-air roadster driving. Inside the cabin, the grey leather
upholstery shows very little wear and the seats are free of any
rips or tears. The carpet is clean and well maintained likewise
showing little wear down in the threads. Keeping in mind the Viper
was built as a serious performance car, options are sparse, just
what you need to, well go fast! There is no airbag in the center of
the three-spoke leather-wrapped race-inspired steering wheel and
the dash features full instrumentation. The factory AM/FM/Cassette
Player powers a set of dual amplifiers and well-placed speakers
around the cabin to play the soundtrack to your drives. Underneath
the hood is clean and well-maintained. The 8.0L V-10 has been
upgraded to Stage 2 cylinder head modifications, performance
camshafts, T&D Roller rockers with Gen II fuel injectors to
feed the extra horsepower, and Belanger headers to take advantage
of the extra cylinder flow. Power is transferred through a 6-speed
Tremec manual transmission back to the rear differential with
independent suspension. Braking is provided by power-assisted
four-wheel disc brakes and features a power rack and pinion
steering. This supercar rolls on factory 5 spoke alloy 17 rims with
speed-rated Michelin Pilot Sport radial mounted on them. This Viper
is a great opportunity to own and drive at an affordable price.
This is a fantastic car ready to tame a few curvy back roads or
maybe attend a few track days in as well. Please call if interested
