Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 2011
Chevrolet Camaro SS Indy 500 Pace Car Edition. The first Chevrolet
selected as the Indianapolis 500 pace car was the 1948 Fleetmaster
Six. Chevrolet would go on to lead the racing pack more than any
other manufacturer and to commemorate the selection of the Camaro
Chevrolet produced just 500 replicas for sale to the public.
Evoking the styling of the 69 pace car this Camaro is looking sharp
in it's Dover White exterior with Hugger orange stripes. As you
walk around the vehicle you'll notice nice details like the pace
car decals and dual exhaust. The interior is trimmed in orange
leather, including front seat headrests embossed with the Indy 500
logo, along with white door panels and instrument panel trim. A
really nice touch is the instrument panel trim features extensions
of the orange exterior stripes. Under the hood is a 6.2 Liter LS3
V8 that is factory rated at 426 HP and 420 bl ft of torque. Take a
firm grip of the 6 speed manual shifter and imagine how this car
can get up and go! Included with this vehicle is the original
window sticker, original car cover and more. With less than 6,000
miles on the odometer this Camaro is destined for a serious
collector. This is the one you want to own. Options include AC,
AM/FM radio, antilock brakes, power top, cruise control, heated
seats, leather interior, power brakes, power steering, power
windows, tilt/telescopic wheel, seat belts, traction control and
alloy wheels wrapped in radial tires.
