Vehicle Description
A super cool 1977 AMC Gremlin X. This car was recently restored,
and is finished in its factory-correct Firecracker Red, with
correct white vinyl graphics replaced. It has had a total engine
refresh, including a new Motorcraft carburetor, new alternator, new
torque converter, new starter, refurbished gas tank, new window
seals, and an undercarriage rehab as well. The 258ci inline-6 runs
like a champ now, and is controlled by the factory-correct,
floor-shift automatic transmission. This Gremlin was custom ordered
from the dealer with white vinyl bucket seats instead of the "Hot
Scotch" plaid interior, so to stay true to the originality of the
vehicle, new white vinyl seats were fitted. This car came standard
with disc-front power brakes, but was further optioned with a sport
steering wheel, visibility group, tailgate air deflector, power
steering, roof rack, "Light Group'', heavy-duty cooling system,
"Protection group", the aforementioned floor shifter and 258ci
6-cylinder engine, and a dealer-installed American Motors AM radio
is also still present. Included with the sale is the original
window sticker, dealer brochure, service manuals, restoration
pictures plus other paperwork. A super-neat 70's treat!
