Vehicle Description
One of five known surviving examples of the mighty Marmon Sixteen
with this handsome LeBaron-built Victoria Coupe coachwork.
Wonderfully restored by Stone Barn Restorations of New Jersey and
meticulously maintained in the ensuing years, it boasts well-known
history with a series of high-profile collectors, and has earned
numerous awards and accolades, including an AACA President's Cup
and Senior Award, and class awards at Pebble Beach, Meadowbrook,
and The Glenmoor Gathering. Powered by a rebuilt 491 cubic-inch V16
engine fitted with new reproduction cylinder heads made by
Edelbrock Engineering, capable of at least 200 horsepower. Paired
with a 3-speed manual with added overdrive, it is a superlative
machine for long-distance touring. Undoubtedly one of the finest
motorcars born of the "multi-cylinder" war of the early 30s, the
Marmon Sixteen stands above the competition with power, prestige,
and performance that few could match. This vehicle just arrived,
