This 1968 Ford Mustang Eleanor Tribute Edition is an official
licensed and certified Eleanor build and comes with the genuine
Eleanor certification paperwork, Eleanor body VIN plate and emblems
issued by Gone in 60 Seconds LLC, the owner of the Eleanor
licensing rights. This 1968 custom fastback coupe conversion has
all the movie-correct Eleanor body modifications and accessories,
including side-exit dual exhaust, the wired Go-Baby-Go NOS dash
switch, and of course nitrous bottle and (non-operational) shifter.
Underneath the distinctive domed Eleanor hood sits a freshly built,
Ford 5.0-liter V8 engine with a roller cam, aluminum intake and an
Edelbrock 750 CFM carburetor. The Ford powerplant is coupled to a
5-speed TREMEC manual transmission and upgraded with an electronic
ignition for reliable performance. It exhales through a 2.5-inch
throaty exhaust with headers, which exit through the side lower
rockers. The suspension was upgraded with front adjustable
coilovers. Stopping power is provided with 4-wheel power disc
brakes. This Eleanor fastback rolls on 17-inch Eleanor-style wheels
with Z-rated performance tires. Finished in Pepper Gray Metallic
2-stage PPG exterior paint along with rich black rally body stripes
and multiple layers of clear coat over top. In addition, the
underside of the fastback was prepared and finished with the same
exterior Pepper Gray paint color and clear-coated to make it easy
to wipe down. The underside of the fiberglass hood and engine
compartment are painted body color. The hood has multiple
adjustable aluminum billet hood hinges. The overall body gaps and
alignment are fit, and the finish of the scoops and custom body
modifications were hand-fitted for placement. This Eleanor is
equipped with proper taillights, bullet-style side view mirrors and
Eleanor-style flip-up gas-filler lid. It is also equipped with an
electric trunk release. The all-new deluxe interior features custom
bucket seats, a custom center console, stainless steel billet trim
on the dash and door panels and a new vintage-style wood steering
wheel. The interior is equipped with show-ready red LED lighting in
the interior cabin, engine compartment and chassis area. Sound is
provided by a custom 7-inch DVD stereo with Bluetooth connectivity
and multiple speakers. It has two 12-volt batteries, one for
starting and the second for the LED lighting and accessories. All
the accessories; extensive gauges; and lighting, including the
front blue driving lights, fog lights and LED lights, operate and
function correctly with the flip of a toggle switch. It comes
complete with a 30x40-inch professionally assembled "Gone in 60
Seconds" framed presentation of the official movie poster along
with authentic officially "signed" pictures of the lead cast
