Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this 1972
Volkswagen Super Beetle convertible. Its seemed like just yesterday
when seeing a Super Beetle convertible was a daily occurrence.
Where'd they go? Well fortunately we have a few at Gateway Classic
Cars. This little red convertible is a great example of everything
that was awesome about these 70s convertibles. Cheeky good looks,
check. Plucky power and driving experience, check. Frugal and fun,
YEP. Turns heads and makes you smile, most definitely! This 1972
Volkswagen Super beetle sports a 1600 cc flat four spinning a
4-speed manual. The carb was just rebuilt, and the motor is happy
to rev. It still has that characteristic cricket-like chirp! The
body is finished in what appears too be the original red finish
over black vinyl interior with a black roof. This Beetle is squeak
and rattle free and you'd never guess it's Fifty years old. It's
just as happy commuting as it is doing weekend duty as a third or
fourth car. This one is as you remembered. Come make it yours
before it's gone! This 1972 Volkswagen Super Beetle convertible is
listed by our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail
including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at
