Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is pleased to present for sale,
on consignment, this stunning 1956 Ford Fairlane Crown Victoria!
Prior to the Crown Victoria becoming it's own model in 1992, it
appeared in 1955-56 as a premium trim for the Fairlane and later
from 1980-91 as the premium trim for the LTD. The thing that
separated a Crown Victoria from a standard Fairlane was the
B-Pillared roofline. The B Pillar was fitted with a stainless steel
band "crowning" the roof and giving a sleek appearance. There is a
lot to take in with this car from the Goldenglow Yellow and
Colonial White exterior that is heavily accented with chrome and
stainless steel trim. The extended rear bumper that houses the roll
away spare tire that gives you access to the trunk and gas filler
and the unique placement of the Crown Victoria emblems on the door
that just seem to belong there. Not to be outdone, the stunning
black and white interior is a piece of art in itself with the
roofline continuing through the interior headliner, a full set of
gauges and even an armrest in the rear seat! This car is equipped
with the "Thunderbird Special" 312 cubic inch V8 Y Block mated to
the 3 speed manual transmission, both of which are reported to not
have been rebuilt. Additional features on this car include an
AM/FM/CD radio located in the glove box, power brakes, seatbelts
and tilt steering. This is your chance to add a really unique car
to your collection, please contact our helpful sales staff to get
the details on the purchase process!
