1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Skyliner Retractable Hardtop Convertible priced to sell at $33,500 USD
This beauty has been restored recently & was owned and enjoyed by our family for 40+ years. Originally restored in the 1980s, we did a second restoration in 2020 and this Skyliner definitely has that great “classic fifties” exterior look with its sleek long & wide design and elegant tail fins.
New paint job has been done in its factory Yellow and White colour scheme.
Front and rear chrome bumpers replaced. Door handles are good, body side moldings are good, antenna good, grill has been re-chromed. All emblems are in great condition or replaced. Front bumper guards have been re-chromed. Single outside mirror - new. Original hub caps with newer tires, drum brakes. The dash is in original condition and still looks great. It’s equipped with a 120 MPH speedometer, temperature gauge, and fuel gauge, as well as an AM radio and clock (clock not working). Odometer works and shows 20,655 miles. Black column and steering wheel. Automatic on column. Really Nice interior that has classic white vinyl & black material replaced on bench seats, upholstery, headliner, carpet, Skyliner floor mats, door panels & visors redone or replaced with new. Original sill plates.
292 2-barrel, V8 engine. The 292 V8 is hooked up to a 2 speed Cruise-O-Matic Automatic Transmission and is a dream to drive. Power Steering, Power Brakes. Great sounding dual exhaust!
The retractable hardtop on this 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 is in good working order and the hardtop roof fits neatly (with a push of a button) inside the trunk space.
This is a very clean and well-kept car, and it has always been stored indoors in climate-controlled conditions. This beauty has been reliable, runs & handles well and is so much fun to drive! A very unique and collectable car that always turns heads & attracts attention at car shows!
