Vehicle Description
This matching-numbers survivor, 1968 AMC AMX Von Piranha Edition,
is one of approximately 22 that were produced by Thoroughbred
Motors in Denver, CO, from 1968-1969. Featuring functional side
scoops, non-functional roof scoops and a custom hood treatment,
this Von Piranha is powered by a 390/315hp engine backed by an
automatic transmission. The Go-Pak on this car was developed and
executed by the shop to make ready-made racers for drag strips.
This car was featured on the cover of the Dec. 12, 2017 edition of
Muscle Car Magazine. Included with the sale is a copy of the Muscle
Car Magazine as well as billboards featuring the car. It has 25,128
miles (title reads exempt).
