Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1999
Plymouth Prowler. When this car rolls down the street all gearheads
know exactly what kind of car this is, and even non-enthusiasts
turn to look when this baby cruises past. The Prowler was a
revolutionary design at a time when it seemed like most cars had
started to all look the same. One of the most interesting (and cool
looking) design features of the Prowler is the open-wheel-style
front end, with its aluminum control arms in full view. This fine
example really catches the eye with it's custom purple flame
appearance. As you walk around the vehicle you'll notice nice
details like the Billet grill and deleted front bumper for a
cleaner front end. Under the hood, you'll find its 3.5L V6 which
was factory rated at over 250 HP. You'll also see the massive
inboard coil-over shocks. Backing the potent V6 is a 4-speed
"Autostick" automatic transmission, located near the rear and
connected to the engine via a torque tube, which rotates at the
same RPM as the engine. This powertrain layout also results in a
ideal near 50/50 weight distribution, vastly improving handling.
This potent Prowler sits on an aluminum racing-inspired chassis,
contributing to a dazzling driving experience. If you're looking
for a handsome example of a modern classic this is the one you want
to own! Options include Air Conditioning, AM/FM radio, cruise
control, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power windows,
keyless entry, seat belts, leather interior and alloy wheels
wrapped in radial tires.
