1960 Ford Galaxie Sunliner, 2-door convertible, white with turquoise and white vinyl interior. 352 CID FE, 4-barrel with dual exhaust. Cruise-O-Matic 3-speed automatic transmission. Power steering, power brakes, AM radio, power top, manual windows and locks. Front disk brake conversion; rear drum brakes are new and converted to self-adjusting. Rebuilt power steering pump and slave cylinders. Rebuilt Autolite 4100 carburetor. New heater control valve installed. Alternator that looks like a generator installed. New shocks and Hankook radial whitewall tires with less than 1,000 miles. Seatbelts for 4 installed. New accessory outside rearview mirrors. This is a driver quality car. Starts and runs well, and the transmission shifts firmly. Repainted long before I bought it and some rust is showing on the passenger side lower fender. Upholstery is in fair condition; interior carpets need to be replaced. NOS mufflers at the rear, but there are some leaks in the exhaust system, and the driver's side resonator was deleted before I bought the car. New gas tank sending unit installed, but the gauge still doesn't read accurately. All lights work with the exception of the back-up lights. The top is old and needs to be replaced, but the electro-hydraulic mechanism works well. Electric clock doesn't work, and the radio is a modern AM/FM that looks like the original factory radio. Ford accessory hood ornament, front and rear bumper guards, rear bumper reflectors, and simulated exhaust outlets are installed and contribute to the jet-age look of the car. I have a shop manual and a few extra parts that will go with the car. The Sunliner and I are both the same age, and we both need some work; and I don't have the energy to give it the care and feeding it needs. Hopefully you will. Thanks for looking.
