Vehicle Description
1953 Ford F100 short box pick up show truck. This Hugger Blue
vehicle has undergone a compete, frame-off restoration. The cab was
rust free (photos available) but all of the fenders, running
boards, & bed are new. The bed has a beautiful oak floor with
painted strips with all stainless fasteners. The underside is as
detailed as the top! The powertrain consists of a Ford 302 (5.0L)
V8, C6 3 speed automatic trans, & a Ford 9' rear axle with 3.55:1
gear set and posi differential. Cooling is more than sufficient
with a Walker radiator. The rear suspension is a four link with
coil overs. The front has independent suspension with power
steering, power disc brakes and a heavy-duty sway bar. Wheels and
tires are by Weld and Mickey Thompson. The gray interior has an
awesome Ford steering wheel with a tilt column, additional gages
for oil, water, and temp, The new fuel tank has been positioned in
the rear under the bed. Additional features include a condenser &
dryer for future AC, hidden kill switch, all rubber parts & seals
