Vehicle Description
Now available in the MaxMotive Pittsburgh Showroom is this highly
engineered 1969 Pontiac Firebird Convertible restomod. From the
powertrain to the suspension to the striking Carousel Red (aka
Judge Orange!) paint, this amazing car is custom built for high
performance and show-worthy appearance. No fewer than 480 cubic
inches of big block Pontiac V8 power the car with an impressive 600
dyno-tested horsepower. Add a shot of nitrous for up to 800 horses.
Butler Performance put the motor together with Fast Fuel Injection,
an Edelbrock Victor open air aluminum intake, MSD ignition, and
Doug's Headers. A 200R4 automatic transmits the torque to a beefy
Moser rear with 3.42 cogs. B&M's rugged QuickSilver ratchet
shifter gives you total control of the tranny. With all this power,
lengthening the subframe and reinforcing the body internally were
good ideas. There's also a 4-link rear suspension and 2006 Firebird
rack & pinion steering and braking system. Tubular front control
arms enhance the handling as well as the stance. Staggered
255/40ZR17 and big 315/35R17 ultra performance radials on polished
Boyd Coddington wheels put the power to the ground. Behind those
wheels, you'll notice drilled and slotted rotors. The gorgeous dash
features a factory tach and full gauge package, and your hands land
on that B&M shifter and a nice Grant steering wheel on a tilt
column. The combination of a power top and power windows makes
switching to open air cruising quick and easy. Build and service
receipts are included. This 1969 Firebird restomod drop top is
equipped to drop the competition at the show and at the track. Be
