1972 F-100 SHORT BED
- Front disc brake conversion w/power,
- Modern A/C system,
- 351 Windsor stroked to 408 c.i.: Forged rotating assembly with girdle will handle any power adders you want. Long block built by firm in Rhode Island that specializes in Ford strokers. Local hot rod shop finished it with mild hydraulic roller, aluminum heads, 750cfm carb, MSD ignition. This put it at 425 to 450 HP which makes it a great (FUN!) driver, but you can get as wild as you want with that base.
- Long tube headers with full 3" exhaust w/ H pipe.
- Street Demon clutch.
- Tremec 5 speed w/ Hurst shifter.
- Eaton tru-trac w/ 353 gears.
- Body is solid with no dents, original paint. Bed surface is rusty due to wear but bed is very solid. Rust at the corners of the doors at the rockers is common to cars of that era and is the only bad stuff.
- All work professionally done, not a backyard project.
- Will gladly coordinate with any shipping you arrange and pay for but I don't want to fool with it.
I have about 25K miles on current drive train. It is very dependable and a ball to drive, makes all the right sounds and does the right things. Moving out of country for two year work assignment so some wiggle room on price but I will store it if offers get too low. Located in Austin, Texas.
