Gateway Classic Cars of Denver is Proud to offer This '57 Corvette
is powered by a 283 cubic inch fuel injected engine backed by a
3-speed manual transmission. Options on this 1957 Chevrolet
Corvette Convertible include: Manual Convertible Top, Vinyl
Interior, Hub Caps, Seat Belts and Wide White Wall Bias Ply Tires.
In 1957 Chevrolet offered a Fuel Injection option for the first
time on the Corvette and these early "Fuelies" have become some of
the most sought after and collectible cars of all time. Only 102
'57 Corvettes were produced with the 579c RPO code (283 cubic inch,
250 hp, Fuel-Injection). The Rochester Fuel Injection unit is model
number 7014360 and is serial numbered 1795. This classic Corvette
is stunning in Venetian Red with matching interior and a Back
convertible top. The restoration was completed around 2006 and only
shows just over 1400 miles since ! Still sporting the Delco-Remy
components such as Starter, Distributor and Generator. Between the
Factory radio delete, color combo and the Fuelie engine mated to a
Manual transmission this Red gem is truly RARE!When originally
releasing these cars the Advertisement and crazy statistic was 1
horsepower per cubic inch.
