Gateway Classic Cars of Denver is proud to present this Ford F-250
Trailer Special manufactured in California in the late 1977's and
marketed as the new 1978 model. The engine was swapped out for a
completely rebuilt 460(8k miles sense rebuild), with a C-6
automatic transmission, NP 205 transfer case, a Dana 60 posi.
rear-HD, Dana 44 open front axle with manual locking hubs and 409
gears. Along with a new paint job in 2015, it has a new windshield,
water pump, thermostat, fuel pump, power steering pump, harmonic
balancer, starter, distributor, ignition system, 750 Holley carb,
fan clutch, belts/hoses, outer un-joints, front calipers, flex
hoses, pads, rotors, wheel bearings, all seals, master cylinder,
rear wheel cylinders, drums, shoes, self adjusters, springs, axel
seals, shocks, American Racing wheels, Cooper tires, tonneau cover,
door panels, reupholstered bench seat, carpet and Line X bed liner.
After 2015, new AC compressor, AC evaporator, AC system(converted
from R12 to 134A), Blue Top steering box, Borgesen steering shaft,
stainless steel fuel lines, fuel sending unit, windshield
reservoir, dash bezel, custom exhaust from the manifolds back and
thrust mufflers.
