Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this handsome
1976 Oldsmobile Starfire GT. Introduced for 1975 the Oldsmobile
Starfire was a stylish subcompact for the modern era. Based upon
the same chassis as the Chevy Monza, the Starfire was the smallest
Oldsmobile in decades but made quite an impression with it's exotic
styling and spacious cabin. This 1976 example is a sight to behold
in it's dark green paint and rally wheels. As you walk around the
vehicle you'll notice nice details like the hood striping and body
side decals. The svelte profile of this car is something you'd
expect to come from Modena but in fact, it came from Lordstown
Ohio. As you take a seat inside you are greeted by a cabin that is
both luxurious and sport inspired. The dash has all the proper
sporting gauges and is set behind sophisticated wood grain trim. A
center console with shifter and handbrake is flanked by bucket
seats upholstered in tan. Don't let this elegance fool you into
thinking there's no practicality. Fold down the rear seats, pop
open the hatch back and there's plenty of space for luggage. Under
the hood is a 231 cubic inch V6 and is paired to a 3 speed
automatic transmission. With a curb weight less than most modern
compacts imagine how this car can get up and go! If you're looking
for a unique classic of the 70s this is the one you want to own!
Options include Air Conditioning, AM/FM radio, power steering, tilt
wheel, seat belts, vinyl interior and rally wheels wrapped in
radial tires.
