HIGHLIGHTS: Well-kept Red Label Arnage! 6.75L! This dark blue
beauty is a well-preserved example of an uncommon model. The
Arnage's introduction in 1998 marked Volkswagen's first steps in
Bentley ownership, and boy did it ever leave a mark! With an
original MSRP of $198,000, you can be sure that you'll ride home in
the lap of absolute luxury, surrounded by all the tan leather and
blue trim you could ever desire!
BODY OVERVIEW: Clean and straight is the only way to describe it!
This Bentley has some minor imperfections here and there, as can be
expected on a 21-year-old car with 82,000 miles on it. However, one
glance down the side of this car tells you all you need to
know!
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The exterior is finished in beautiful
Dark Sapphire, a blue so dark and deeply glossy that absent
sunlight, it may appear black. The paint appears to be original,
and is in excellent condition overall with very few defects to be
found. There are some minor scratches, as seen in the photos, but
overall the paint on this Arnage Red Label presents exceptionally
well when considering age and mileage.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: Step inside, and you'll be transported
right back to the turn of the century (this century, that is!). The
interior is finished in a beautiful tan leather, emitting that
wonderful Bentley leather smell. Despite some minor wear in the
driver's footwell and on the driver's seat, the interior presents
very nicely and is ready to be enjoyed by a new owner. You just
can't beat the feel of blasting down the interstate in complete and
total comfort!
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: The turbocharged six and three-quarter (6.75)
litre OHV V8 engine runs smoothly and quietly; this is a beautiful
example of British design and engineering inside and out! This
engine was a thoughtful selection for a saloon of this stature, and
it remains an excellent choice for the vehicle as it provides
adequate power and smooth operation. The transmission shifts
smoothly, and the air conditioning blows cold. Plus, this car comes
complete with a couple of service receipts from the last couple of
years showing that this vehicle has seen recent maintenance.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The Bentley nameplate is one that
has been carried for decades and decades by only the most refined
automobiles. This Arnage Red Label is no exception, with an
original MSRP of $198,000. Besides, what's not to love about this
delightful color combination?
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: This one is tough to hate! If
you don't like refined British automobiles, why are you here?
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? This car presents in excellent condition,
although it does appear to have a leaking rear fluid-filled
strut.
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Any buyer that is looking for a
well-preserved timeless Bentley that oozes class!
