Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is pleased to present this
beefy silver 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Express pickup. This hulk is
outfitted with a ton of goodies. Under the custom APM Ram Air hood
is the vaunted Dodge 5.7L Hemi, which is backed by a 6-speed
automatic transmission (with 2800 RPM stall converter) that sends
its muscle out back to a stiff set of 4.10:1 gears. If you're
looking to get into the express lane quickly, this setup will do
it! The Hemi has been upgraded with an 87mm throttle body, Vararam
intake, and BBK shorty headers. A Hemi Fever custom tune and custom
throttle controller enable further tweaking of the setup. The
custom Hemi Orange air cleaner lid, coil covers, and valve covers
add even more pizazz to the engine bay. Engine and transmission
cooling are improved with the addition of a V6 electronically
controlled fan, auxiliary transmission cooler, and custom lower
valanced grill (modified for improved airflow to the trans cooler).
This sporty truck rides on 275/55R20 radials, allowing the driver
to take advantage of the improved suspension's capability, which
includes a Belltech drop kit (2/4 cut to 2/5), 7/8-inch rear sway
bar, and upgraded polyurethane sway bar bushings (with shorter
front-end links). Four-wheel disc brakes with slotted and drilled
rotors and ceramic pads help haul this beast down from "ticket
speeds" to the legal zone with no drama. The exterior lighting has
been upgraded to LEDs all around, including "switchback" turn lamps
(which change from being white normally to amber when the turn
signals are operating), so you'll rarely have to worry about the
drawbacks of bulb replacement while you gain the improved
illumination provided by the LEDs. In addition, you have the added
convenience of the puddle lamp-equipped side mirrors. Inside,
custom synthetic leather seating (including "Hemi" logoed
headrests) and a custom center console greet the driver and
passengers, and an upgraded leather-wrapped steering wheel comes
quickly to hand for the driver. Custom carbon fiber appliqus adorn
most surfaces, and LED lighting add to the high-tech look of the
interior. An aftermarket RBZ dual-DIN head unit with
AM/FM/CD/MP3/WMA/Bluetooth capability provides the tunes, which
sound great coming through the Kicker 6x9 speakers (and matching
Kicker sub and amp behind the driver's seat). Drivers will also
appreciate the backup camera that feeds the panel in the RBZ head
unit. Additional features on this 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 include Air
