Vehicle Description
1969 Plymouth Road Runner
Numbers Matching - Broadcast Sheet Documented !!
We just picked this very nice 1969 Plymouth Road Runner from a
classic car auction over the weekend. We were told that it is a
2-owner car that was purchased out of Southern California, that
still retains its original 1969 California black plate tags. This
Road Runner really caught our eye. It is just one of those
wholesome cars that you rarely find especially in a Mopar so you
Mopar guys reallyneed to check this one out!!
Like i mentioned this car has a very wholesome look. The body
appears to be all original except for the trunk floor which looks
to have been professionally installed using the correct replacement
panel. The rest of the body is very straight, very solid and
extremely clean, including the floors and the frame. We were told
that this car had only 1 repaint in the original code 96E "special
order only" paint color "BAHAMA YELLOW" Actually, i find out that
this color is very rare on a Roadrunner especially in 1969 but
either way It is super slick and smooth with a deep luster and show
car shine. It also has like new chrome, trim, weather stripping and
glass too. The black bench seat interior is also all original and
is incredibly in like new condition too. It is very-very nice! Not
only does this car look awesome it runs, rides and drives awesome
too. It is powered by the numbers matching 383c.i. 335h.p. engine
that runs and sounds extremely strong! It is backed up by the
original 727 Torq-flight automatic transmission and sure-grip
posi-traction rear.
Other features include:
power brakes, new dual exhaust, N96 Air Grabber hood, AM radio and
15" steel wheels with poverty hubcaps. This is a very nice,
Broadcast Sheet documented, numbers matching 1969 Roadrunner that
is an original California "Black Plate" car with a mostly original
body that was recently restored and painted in its original and
very rare special-order color.
DON'T MISS IT !!
