Tacoma. The 2012 Toyota Tacoma is slightly refreshed with a new
front grille, headlights, fog lamps, and bumpers. The biggest
change for the 2012 Tacoma is up front. The grille has been
reworked with more angular touches, and the headlamp and foglamp
housing has been redesigned. Also new is the bumper and hood. The
Tacoma's base 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine is rated at 159 hp and
180 lb-ft of torque and is available on most trim levels. It can be
had with a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual. The 2012
Tacoma comes standard with front airbags for the driver and
passenger, as well as side-seat mounted and front to rear curtain
airbags. The Tacoma also includes Toyota's Star Safety System,
which includes Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), Enhanced Vehicle
Stability Control (VSC), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD),
Brake Assist, Traction Control (TRAC), and Smart Stop Technology
(SST). Also standard is a tire pressure monitoring system,
side-impact door beams, and active head restraints. This Tacoma has
added Custom Leather Interior, 3" Lift, Fuel wheels, BFG T/A K02
33" Tires and the Decked Bed system!
