Three (3) owners, the first owner was from Houston, Texas, and took
delivery on April 20, 1988. In July 1991, the 911 Targa was
relocated to Southern California and has been here for over three
decades.

The paintwork is mostly original and presents very well with
original glass and integrated fog lights. All the doors, decks, and
panels are original to the car, verified with the presence of the
factory VIN stickers. The upholstery is original and features
factory air conditioning that blows ice cold, Blaupunkt Reno radio,
and VDO instrumentation. Refinished Fuchs alloy wheels 6 x 15 front
and 7 x 15 rears are fitted to Hankook Ventus V2 Concept 2 tires
205 55 R16 fronts and 225 50 R16 rears. The undercarriage is in
exceptional condition, it is all original, solid, and
rust-free.
According to the Warranty and Maintenance booklet, this Carrera
Targa was delivered by Ryan Motor Cars the Porsche dealer in Fort
Worth, Texas to the first owner, Mr. Ballesteros. Dealer and
Independent services are recorded from the date of purchase in 1988
and displays a linear progression of mileage until 1993 with 39,563
miles. Following the recorded services and paperwork on hand, the
Carrera Targa eventually traded hands on June 4, 1993, to the
second owner, Mr. Marcotte. Under Mr. Marcotte's ownership, the
vehicle was driven very sparingly until July 16, 2003, when the
Targa received a comprehensive service by AJ USA Inc. at 54,437
miles. A recent service was completed in 2022, new tires have been
installed and the air conditioning compressor was replaced.
Mechanically powered by a 3.2-Liter flat-six engine (type M930/25)
producing 217HP, paired to a smooth-shifting 915 manual G50 5-speed
transmission (type G50/01) with four-wheel disc brakes. Complete
with owner's manual, maintenance, and warranty booklet, tool kit,
KPZ collapsible spare tire, front bra cover, and Certificate of
Authenticity. An excellent opportunity to acquire a very low
mileage, original, J-Series Targa with the coveted G50 5-speed
transmission.
