Anniversary 2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS. The Camaro has been an iconic
brand for General Motors since 1967. Manufactured to be a direct
competitor to the Ford Mustang. After six generations and over five
million sold the Chevrolet Camaro will always be one of the most
popular models ever sold. Production ran from 19687-2002 resulting
in an astonishing five million plus cars sold. The Camaro has
evolved in many trim variations and has become one of the most
popular cars to restore and modify into the classic Camaros that we
enjoy today.This 2002 Chevrolet 35th Anniversary Chevrolet Camaro
SS is painted in bright red with dual silver stripes fading into
checkered racing flags. Only 3369 units were produced in this
special edition SS. Special anniversary badging and chrome wheels
with black inserts are added touches to the anniversary package.
The black/grey two-tone interior is accented with "35th embroidery
on the headrests and floor mats. An anniversary badge has also been
placed on dashboard as well. Under the hood is an upgraded 5.7 V-8
producing 345hp. Transfer of power to the rear wheels comes from a
4-speed automatic transmission attached to an Auburn rear-end
differential. Added features include power steering, power ABS
brakes, traction control, power windows, power locks, power
mirrors, power driver's seat, power trunk release, rear window
defogger, air conditioning, and of course T-Tops! Yes, I said
