Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is proud to present this 1966
Chevrolet Corvair monza. This example is of the second-generation
produced 1965-1969 that included a body redesign. This beauty
carries the 164 "turbo air" flat 6 cylinder engine. It was able to
produce 110 hp and is mated to a 2-speed Corvair Powerglide
automatic transmission. The 66 Monza also received fully
independent suspension for improved handling. This particular
Corvair is wearing a mist blue paint on the exterior, black vinyl
seats on the interior and a white convertible top. Features include
a power top, wire wheels, am radio, white wall tires. According to
the owner, the top and exterior paint are new, as of 2005 and still
looks great! Whether you want a top down cruiser that is great on
gas, or a car you can take around turns on a track at near full
speed, this little car can do it all!
