Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1988
Avanti Coupe! Avantis can trace their rich heritage back to
Studebaker. When the Avanti was introduced it was largely touted as
being "one of the more significant milestones of the postwar
industry." Avanti broke 29 speed records on the salt flats becoming
the fastest production car in the world for its time! After
Studebaker shut down the plant in 1963 Avanti continued and
eventually under Avanti Motor Co. from GM all the way until 2006.
Here we have an '88 model. The white paint looks in good shape. The
black leather interior is comfortable and in good order. Condition
you would expect to see from a 1-owner. Under the hood is a 305ci
V8 mated to an automatic transmission. The mileage at 49k is
believed actual, with its ownership and condition it's probably
true. As stated, the owner acquired this car when it was new 34
years ago. Avant's are highly sought after and as such have a
strong following. Naturally due to this they don't tend to remain
in inventory for long. Don't miss your chance to have this piece of
history! The title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred
into your name now. Options on this Avanti include: A/C, Power
Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows/Locks/Sunroof, Leather
Interior, Cruise Control, Tilt Wheel, AM/FM/CD Radio, Seat Belts,
Wire Wheels, and Radial Tires. This 1988 Avanti Coupe is offered by
our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including
100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For
