1980 Porsche 928! The 928 model ran for 18 years from 1977 to 1995
only having subtle changes to it over the years. This fine example
is only sporting a little over 40,600 miles on the odometer and
that averages out to less than 1000 miles per year since new! The
4.5 liter, 272 cubic inch V8 engine has been left untouched outside
of regular maintenance and is reported to put out a healthy 229
horsepower and 265 ft lbs of torque! The V8 is mated to a 3 speed
automatic transmission that shifts smooth as the day it came off
the showroom floor. The Grand Prix White exterior paint is shiny
and was well cared for and the black leather interior is showing
little wear. Features and options include A/C, 16" Aluminum "Phone
Dial" style wheels wrapped in Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 rubber,
aftermarket AM/FM/CD radio, Anti-Theft System, Cruise Control,
Power Brakes, Power Seats, Power Steering, Power Windows, 4 Wheel
Disc Brakes and Tilt Column. After picking up the car in 2020
maintenance under the current owner included replacement of the
timing belt, water pump, fuel pump and filter, air intake hoses,
air filter, airbox straps, fuel injectors, ignition coils, spark
plug wires, spark plugs, distributor cap, distributor rotor, new
battery, and the hood pad, The transaxle was recently rebuilt with
a torque convertor replacement. The A/C system was recently
serviced and blows strong and COLD, however the climate control
unit is stuck on the cold setting and its heating function is
currently inoperative. This can be easily fixed by replacing the
climate control unit, which is readily available and inexpensive.
The coolant expansion tank and radiator were replaced with
