Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1964
Chevrolet El Camino! In the late 50s Chevrolet decided to try their
hand at making coupe utility vehicle following the success of
Ford's Ranchero. As all successes go there is always another that
wants a piece of the pie. With that said it wasn't long until Chevy
unveiled the El Camino and it was an instant hit selling more its
first year than the Ranchero did in its first year, 2 years prior.
The El camino would see 5 generations spanning nearly 25 years!
Here we have a '64 model and wow does she pull your eye. The Azure
Aqua paint looks sharp and the matching interior is also in good
order. Under the hood is a spirited 283ci V8 with power running
down through a 4-speed manual transmission. The car runs and drives
very good and shifts with a breeze. The current owner has had her
for over a year and acquired from a private owner. He installed
Wilwood disc brakes in the front and added American Racing Wheels.
The title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your
name now. This is one of the nicer of the era El Caminos we have
had in here in some time, don't miss your chance to have slick
ride! Options on this Elco are: Power Steering, Vinyl Interior,
Seat Belts, AM Radio, Custom Wheels, and Radial Tires. This 1964
Chevrolet El Camino is offered by our Louisville Showroom and can
be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD
video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information
